The Windsurfing Enthusiasts of Tidewater, Inc., (WET) is the voice of all the windsurfers of the lower Chesapeake Bay area and serves as a contact for those interested in the sport. We work in cooperation with United States Windsurfing to see that launch sites stay accessible to us as well as addressing legal matters such as PFD regulations. We host several regattas each year in addition to swap meets, clinics, and weekend trips to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We also keep several of the local beaches clean. If you are a seasoned windsurfer or just interested in finding out more about our sport, you are welcome to join us in our activities. The yearly membership fee of $20 includes a discount at all WET-sponsored races and an extra $25 membership with the USW allows you to participate in USW sanctioned events. So whether you've lived here all your life, you're just passing through, or you're thinking about moving here, check us out and come sail with us.

You MUST bring your current picture ID driver's license and current vehicle registration with you in your vehicle to be allowed on Fort Monroe
